To ensure you enjoy maximum satisfaction, all PROTON vehicles undergo a Pre Delivery Inspection by your PROTON Dealer in accordance to the recommended inspection schedule set by PROTON Cars Australia.

  • Free Scheduled Servicing is applicable to all Prevé GXR, Exora & Suprima S vehicles purchased prior to and including 20th November 2014.


  • The vehicle is covered for 5 years or 75,000km, whichever occurs first, FREE scheduled servicing.

  • Recommended service intervals are every 12 months or 15,000km (with a first service due at 1 month or 1,000km) – whichever occurs first.

  • You will be responsible to present your vehicle to an Authorised PROTON Dealership or Authorised PROTON Service Centre to perform the scheduled services.

  • PROTON 5 years FREE scheduled servicing can be carried out at any PROTON Authorised Dealership or Authorised PROTON Service Centre to be eligible

  • Any service carried out by a non-authorised Proton Dealership or non-authorised Proton Service Centre will not be covered by the 5 years FREE Scheduled Servicing.

  • The 5 years scheduled servicing includes labour, lubricants and parts (genuine parts only) as outlined in the vehicles service booklet.

  • You will need to ensure that the periodical maintenance log sheets in your Service Booklet are properly stamped and signed by a PROTON Authorised Dealer or Authorised Service Centre for the purposes of warranty.

  • You are responsible for maintaining the vehicle properly as outlined in the vehicles Service Booklet.

  • The scheduled services shown in the list below are the service covered by the 5 years FREE Scheduled Servicing (includes a total of six scheduled services) for 5 years or 75,000km.

    • 1 month or 1,000km

    • 12 months or 15,000km

    • 24 months or 30,000km

    • 36 months or 45,000km

    • 48 months or 60,000km

    • 60 months or 75,000km

  • Scheduled services included commence from the first date of registration (also known as the warranty start date).

  • Services are to be carried out within 21 days of the scheduled date or not more than 750 km of the scheduled distance or additional costs may apply.

  • Damage relating to improper service or to the lack of servicing cannot be accepted under warranty.

  • The replacement of wear & tear items such as drive belts, wiper blades, brake pads, light bulbs, fuses, refrigerant gas, tyres and fluids between services are not covered under the 5 years FREE scheduled servicing.

  • Should your vehicle be used frequently under severe operating conditions, certain parts of the vehicle will require more frequent maintenance, which will not be covered under the 5 years FREE scheduled servicing. An Authorised PROTON dealer or Authorised PROTON Service Centre will be able to advise you of these requirements.

  • Severe operating conditions include, but are not limited to the following cases :

  1. Driving on dusty roads or when exposed to salty air

  2. Driving on rough roads, on submerged roads, or hilly areas

  3. Engine idling for long periods of time or short distance travelled during cold weather

  4. Frequent, sudden application of brakes

  5. Operation under excessive load

  6. Frequent use of the vehicle in extremely hot or cold weather conditions

  7. Towing a Trailer or Caravan

 

Returning to an Authorised PROTON dealer or Authorised PROTON Service Centre for the 5 star service program will not only help you avoid costly and unnecessary repairs, it also assists in maintaining your vehicles value as this program ensures your vehicle is serviced by Authorised PROTON Technicians, your vehicle will be serviced using genuine PROTON Parts & Accessories and PROTON will have a record of your maintenance and repairs.

  • Any service carried out by a Non-authorised PROTON Dealership or Non-authorised ROTON Service Centre will not be covered by the 5 years Capped Price Scheduled Servicing.

  • The 5 years Scheduled Servicing includes labour, lubricants and parts (genuine parts only) as outlined in the vehicles Service Booklet.

  • Using genuine PROTON Parts & Accessories is highly recommended to ensure your vehicle is maintained to its original specifications as outlined in the vehicles Service Booklet.

  • Should your vehicle be used frequently under severe operating conditions, certain parts of the vehicle will require more frequent maintenance. An Authorised PROTON dealer or Authorised PROTON Service Centre will be able to advise you of these requirements.

  • Severe operating conditions include, but are not limited to the following cases :

  1. Repeated Short trips

  2. Frequents, sudden application of brakes

  3. Driving or living in coastal areas where the vehicle is likely to be exposed to salty air

  4. Driving on dusty or rough roads

  5. Use as a taxi, rental car or similar

  6. Operation under excessive load

  7. Operation in extreme hot weather conditions
