Proton's Act of Kindness
Long time Wests Tigers major sponsor Proton Cars Australia have made a special gesture to the family of little Lleyton Giles.
Touched by what the Wests Tigers did at Campbelltown Stadium against Penrith for their brave five-year-old fan in his battle against a terminal liver condition, Proton Cars Australia have donated their corporate box to the Giles family for Sunday’s home match against the Melbourne Storm at Leichhardt Oval.
“The amount of kind words, support and love shown to Lleyton and our family from Wests Tigers supporters has been incredible,’’ said Wes Giles, Lleyton’s father.
“We can’t thank the Wests Tigers enough. A big thank you also to Proton Cars Australia for their kind generosity. This is unbelievable.”

Miss Universe Australia
Proton Cars Australia is a proud sponsor of the Miss Universe Australia pageant for 2009 & 2010.
The Miss Universe Australia organisers acknowledge that the events success would not be possible without the support of the sponsors. In 2010, thousands of young Australian women entered into the event hopeful to represent Australia.
The lucky and thoroughly deserving winner for 2010 is Miss Jesinta Campbell, who has also won herself a brand new Proton upon receiving the Miss Universe Australia crown. Jesinta, a 19 year old former school captain and volunteer worker at a children’s charity, recently represented Australia at the Miss Universe Pageant in Las Vegas, Jesinta came 2nd Runner Up and won the Miss Congeniality Universe award. Congratulations Jesinta from all the staff at Proton Cars.
Jesinta will work closely with the Proton brand as their ambassador over the next 12 months.

Top Gear Australia
The best advertising is free advertising and even better again is free advertising with great feedback. This is exactly what the Proton Satria Neo has been receiving on the set of Top Gear Australia.
Each episode the Satria Neo is driven (extremely hard) by a different celebrity. The ‘star in a bog standard car’ segment gets fantastic feedback and is watched by hundreds of thousands of people around Australia each week.
With handling engineered by Proton subsidiary Lotus the Satria Neo has proved to be an extremely strong performer on the Top Gear Australia track.

Rachael has happily been the ambassador for Proton Cars working closely with the brand over the past 12 months. Miss Finch was the face of the new Proton S16, featuring in both TV commercials and print advertising campaigns.
